The Office of the Energy Regulatory Commission (Office of the Energy Regulatory Commission) continues its commitment to managing and developing the Power Development Fund in designated areas and promoting the development of good community projects continuously. At Kamontip Room 3, 2nd floor, The Sukosol Hotel, Special Data Bangkok, the Electricity Development Fund under the supervision of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has entered its 8th year of continuous development of communities around the power plant. 2012 to the present (as of 17 January 2019), there are 494 power development funds in designated areas with a total budget of 18,000 million baht approved to implement approximately 50,000 projects to develop the economy, society, and environment, which the Office of the Energy Regulatory Commission has started. Organized the first Power Development Fund contest in 2016 with great success.
There are Power Development Funds and community projects in Fund Type A (large funds that receive more than 50 million baht per year) and Fund Type B (medium-sized funds that receive more than 1 -50 million baht per year). Interested in making an impact? The event participated in the contest of 53 funds, 66 projects, and received awards for 12 funds, 8 projects. For this year 2019, the Office of the Energy Regulatory Commission has organized a contest covering all 3 types of funds: Funds Type A, B, and C (small funds that receive no more than 1 million baht per year) with the objective of praising and building morale for those involved. Search for the best power development funds in the designated area and outstanding community projects to expand and exchange knowledge on effective operations. Including to enhance the image and spread public relations. The results of the work will be made known to all involved parties and the general public.
